Born and raised in Eugene, Glenn graduated from the University of Oregon, served on the board of Sponsors, the Jefferson Westside Neighbors, the Chamber of Commerce Aviation Committee and was past president of the Cascade Lions Club. Glenn currently is on the board of the national NEC Dealers Association, NECDA. As Sales manager and co-owner for Smeed Communications, Paul works with the sales team to keep them up to date on the latest technical advancements. A highly trained Sound consultant, Paul has attended several system design schools such as Syn-Aud-Con, Bose Professional, Biamp, and many others. He is a member of "NSCA" the National Systems Contractors Association and attends the national "Infocom" convention annually. Paul specializes in sound systems for Churches and large auditoriums. He has worked on sound systems for the Hult center, the outdoor pavilion of the Oregon Shakespearean theater in Ashland just to name a few. Both of these theaters are considered to be world class performing arts centers. Paul has made hundreds of sound system evaluations in Oregon. And in his free time Paul likes to restore old cars.

Smeed Communication Services is accepting resume's for a part time office assistant. Must have a great personality and like to work with others. Afternoons Monday thru Friday

Duties include:
Answering telephone, Work order write up, document scanning, filing, proposal and submittal preparations, customer surveys, mailings, and other general office duties. Must have good Telephone, Computer, and organizational skills. ($10.00 hour)

Limited EnergyTechnician
The state of Oregon requires that all low voltage technicians have a limited energy electrical license (LEA) to work in the field of communications. This license has sub catagories for different types of systems. If you have this type of state license, please feel free to apply.

We are accepting resumes for a full time Educational market sales person. Sales will be for Sound, Video, Alarm, and telephone products to Educational facilities in Southern half of the state of Oregon. Based in Eugene,this is an inside/outside sales position. Some travel required, Salary plus commission, Healthcare, vehicle provided. Must have sales and techincal experience, good diving record, product training provided. Drug screening required.
