Panasonic Introduces Attune™ Drive-Thru Communications System
It’s Not Just Digital, It’s Better.
Incorporating Panasonic's World Renowned Audio And Wireless Digital Expertise.
A new digital drive-thru communications solution for the hospitality industry introduced by Panasonic System Solutions features the company’s world renowned audio and wireless digital expertise to deliver consistently clear interaction with customers and employees. Engineered with optimized digital audio transmission technologies, Panasonic’s Attune™ Digital Drive-Thru Communications System can help improve order accuracy resulting in better
profitability, streamlined operations and lower total cost of ownership.
“Attune sets a new benchmark in performance for digital drive-thru communications systems,” said JM Allain, President, Panasonic System Solutions Company.
“By combining Panasonic’s core expertise in digital communications and audio, Attune delivers a range of unique performance and functional advantages that truly set it apart from other digital drive thru systems available on the market today.”
Unlike conventional digital order taking systems that typically operate on the unrestricted 2.4 Ghz band and are subject to interference, Attune features a spread spectrum design utilizing a restricted 1.9 Ghz band for interference-free communications. Performance is further augmented by employing a regulated Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) voice technology protocol,
transmitting TDMA which is more advanced than the spread spectrum currently in use in the industry. In addition, Attune features true digital packet diversity to provide
exceptional reception and sound quality while virtually eliminating communication dead spots and signal fading. And, no FCC licenses are required for operation.
Attune is available in ergonomically designed All-in-One (AIO) and Belt Pack configurations engineered for durability in rigorous environments. The self-contained
AIO features: user-visible status lights and color on the mic boom; A/B duallane/ tandem operation; one-touch hands-free talk-lock; and power and low battery status. The lightweight belt pack features: a wired headset with swivel extension for enhanced acoustic quality; ergonomic clip-on or pocket communicator; easy access nylon and Velcro case; and one-button battery eject for quick battery changes. Attune’s exceptional systems features include: programming ease that makes initial set up and telephone troubleshooting fast and easy for up to 30 order takers per base station; dual drive-thru operation that’s ideal for when a single crew member is working both drive-thru lanes during off-peak hours; line busting operation for speed team
operations during peak hours; and unique manager’s functions to intervene in customer communications and for advanced crew training. For international applications, Attune is RF compliant in multiple countries eliminating the need for a license, and features a universal power supply that’s compatible in countries that accept the DECT format.
