Rauland-Borg Corporation – the new 40,000 sq. ft “Solution Center” was built as part of their new facility in Mount Prospect, IL. The Solution Center was developed to provide a hands-on, collaborative experience by creating complete hospital and school settings. Here, design professionals and customers are able to touch and use the equipment, to help realize how the Rauland systems can be customized to provide solutions to their unique and complex needs. Each room is fully equipped with the interactive hardware and software components that make up the Rauland Responder® and Telecenter® platforms. The Rauland systems are installed and programmed just as they would be in an actual hospital or school facility.
Rauland-Borg Solution Center provides the ability for customers to receive complete training of the communication systems for both their health care and education customers. With a hospitality area, serve-in kitchen and presentation rooms, the Solution Center is set-up to entertain and collaborate with customers, enabling them to feel the real fabric of Rauland.
Rauland-Borg Responder® Nurse Call communication systems offer hospitals superior patient / staff communication capabilities, from nurse call to fully integrated communications networks. The Rauland-Borg Healthcare division produces Nurse Call solutions for both acute hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. The Solution Center focuses on Rauland’s Responder line of Nurse Call, with live staff portals, a fully operational nursing station, department vignettes, sign-on kiosks, patient rooms, patient bath room, workflow terminals and call stations on display for a complete hands-on experience. Patient rooms are set-up with working hospital beds and appropriate equipment that would be based in an OR, Ed or MedSurg unit. Hospitals that come through the Solution Center are given a thorough presentation of the Responder systems in action, complete with software applications that focus on the clinical experience, enabling hospital clients to vision how it would look and function within their own facility. Rauland also showcases partner products within the Solution Center to demonstrate their seamless integration with Responder systems. These include wireless phones, real time locating systems, medical equipment and other software applications for the OR and ED, and bed/patient tracking systems.
